Bridges
-
Completion of the design and construction inspection for the Jefferson Avenue Bridge in Union County; Project consisted of reconstruction of a two span concrete encased stringer bridge, abutment and pier rehabili-tation, along with approach roadway improvements.

Completion of design of Woodfern Road Bridge; a half-hip Pratt Through Truss bridge project, with two single spans including the strengthening of metal trusses, masonry repointing, misc. reconstruction work and improvements to the horizontal and vertical realignment of the approach roadway.

Completion of design of Opie River Road Bridge a Pratt Pony Truss with two individual spans. Significant truss strengthening, widening of metal trusses for H25 loading, along with a cast in place exodermic deck system to lighten dead loads was designed for this project. New concrete substructures with stone veneer and powder coated beam guide rail were utilized for special aesthetic and maintenance requirements.

Scoping and final design for Nevius Street Bridge was completed for the removal of previous repairs and restoration of metal trusses for AASHTO pedestrian and H5 loadings. The project also encompassed stone masonry repointing and reconstruction work with a timber plank deck and flat ironwork railing repairs. The bridge is a Double Intersecting Pratt Through Truss comprised of two 150 foot spans.

Scoping and contract bid documents for new county bridge crossing the Raritan River between Raritan Borough and Hillsborough Township, known as Lyman Street; through studies of 10 alternatives for upgrading the Nevius Street crossing, a new bridge was designed to cross over the Raritan River aligning Lyman Street in Raritan Borough with River Road in Hillsborough Township. The project included realignment of River Road and widening of Lyman Street along with construction related intersection improvements.

Scoping and final design for the rehabilitation and truss strengthening of metal trusses for H15 loading of the Elm Street bridge in Three Bridges, NJ; The bridge is a Lenticular Through Truss consisting of two spans that is one of the last remaining examples of this type of construction in New Jersey.

Construction inspection for 4 bridges in Warren County, NJ; Work included full time inspector supervising all aspects of the reconstruction of the spans and approach roadways.

Contract bid documents for the replacement of Finderne Avenue Bridge over the Raritan River; The existing bridge is a nine span structure consisting of three river spans and six causeway spans over a floodplain.
Office Buildings

New 160,000 s.f. headquarters, distribution facility, and camera repair building with stormwater detention basin. Off-site improvements include widening and new turn lanes on a County road.

New 130,000 s.f. headquarters with research laboratories, high tech assembly and distribution facilities. Off-site improvements include relocation of a regional stormwater detention basin and improvements to a four-lane Township roadway.

New 64,000 s.f. corporate headquarters with a drive-up banking module. An existing industrial building was demolished and the site was redeveloped as a Class "A" corporate facility.
