ENGINEER – CIVIL/SITE - New Jersey EIT or PE preferred with minimum of 5 years experience in site development planning, drainage design, grading, stormwater management permitting, etc. AutoCADD/LDD required with good written and technical skills.

CONSTRUCTION INSPECTORS (Contract Employees) - NJDOT experience required for roadway construction and reconstruc-tion projects. Responsibilities include on-site inspections, measurements, and preparation of daily reports. NICET certification a plus. Assignments may require working at night.

BRIDGE ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER – Bridges and Highway Structures.  Requires PE with minimum 7 years experience in design of bridges and highway structures. Some experience in roadway layout, grading and drainage design necessary. Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Knowledge of environmental documentation and permitting a plus. Opportunity for varied design experience in team oriented department. Responsibilities include preparation of structural computations, detailing, and writing technical specifications. Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD, BAR 7) and AutoCAD/Softdesk a plus.

RESIDENT ENGINEER (Contract Employee) – Bridges and Highway Structures - Requires NICET IV or NJPE with minimum of 5 years experience Resident-in-Charge bridge and roadway projects.  Knowledge of construction engineering and inspection procedures a must.   Responsibilities include perform on-site inspections, monitor construction progress and schedule, maintain daily inspection reports, review shop drawings, review requests for payment, and prepare change orders.  Experience taking samples, observing on-site testing, review of test results and in-plant inspection a plus.  Resident Engineer assignments are made on a project by project basis, as needed.
